A ladies 9-Hole league held every Tuesday. There will be front nine, back rotation for play established during the first week. Starting times are blocked out 3:45 to 5:15 pm.
Saturday, April 27 – Brassie Event #2: Open House
9:00 am shotgun start. Individual Stroke Play with Big Skins Game. Made for TV skin game format, gross and net divisions, everyone is in both. Holes 1-6 will have X-value, holes 7-12 will have XX-value, and holes 13-18 will have XXX-value. If no skin on hole, $ amount will carry over to next hole. Entry fee is $5o and incudes a pass for golf on a later date.
Monday, May 6 – Get Golf Ready
Play Golf America’s featured introductory program, “Get Golf Ready in 5 Days” is aimed at bringing adults into the game in a fast, fun and affordable way. The PGA developed the Get Golf Ready program to teach new golfers in five short lessons and prepare them to get onto the golf course with confidence. Classes are $89 per golfer and are limited to 7 adults and must have a minimum of 3, each class lasts for 1.5 hours. Class #1 is scheduled for May 6-10 starting at 4pm, #2 is June 10-14.

Loaner golf equipment is available so an investment in equipment is not necessary until you determine interest in the game. Friday, May 17 – St. Patrick’s School Outing

Mark your calendars for Friday, May 17, 2013! St. Patrick School will be hosting the 4th annual Irish Classic golf outing at The Brassie Golf Club in Chesterton. Reservations for foursomes are now being accepted. Round up your golf buddies, business associates, brothers/sisters, and friends. We will be using a scramble format that is friendly to all abilities. Prizes will be awarded for longest drive, closest to the pin, best overall score, and more! Breakfast & lunch (Chick-fil-A!) will be provided.
All profits from this event will be directly used for the education and enrichment of the children of St. Patrick School. It is through the generosity of individuals and businesses in our community that we are able to host events such as this and raise the much-needed funding for our school. Therefore it is our hope that you will join us as a donor or sponsor at a level that best suits you.
Tickets for the raffles and stroke count enhancers will all be available before the shotgun start at 9:30 and can be purchased on the course. Breakfast will be served and the range will open at 8:30 am.
Saturday, Sunday May 18 & 19 – Brassie Event #3: Dunes Classic
A 36-Hole Stroke Play event. Flights will be determined by the first round score. There will be 3 divisions in the men’s group and 2 or 3 divisions in the ladies group, depending on number of entries. Blue tees for men, green tees for ladies. $75 entry per player, ($35 Brassie Members): includes cart, warm-up range balls and a free round of golf for later use. Entry deadline is Tuesday May 14th at noon. Play will be in threesomes and starting times begin at 8:30 am.

“ADULT” Junior Golf is a unique golf instruction class where adults are taught how to instruct their juniors. The class lasts approximately 1.5 hours and covers topics such as: foundations and set-up, strength and size issues, equipment options, practice games and drills, what to look for and how to help. Sign up in advance is required; classes are $10 per adult or husband/wife combination. Three different classes are scheduled for Tuesday May 21 at 5pm, Thursday June 6 at 5pm, and Friday July 5 at 3pm.
Wednesday, May 22 – DAC Boy’s Tournament
Chesterton High School hosts tournament scheduled for a 1:00 pm shotgun start, forty players.
Friday, May 24 – Friday Night Couples
Friday Night Couples is open to all golfers and offers fun “Hit & Giggle” formats. Announcements are at 5:15 pm with a shotgun start to follow. “Warm-Up” can begin any time before. There will be different golf formats each week with the rules posted on the sign-up sheet in the clubhouse. The entry fee is $50 per couple and includes golf and dinner.

7:30 am tee times for both days. 36-Hole Stroke Play Tournament, open to members of The Brassie or White Hawk. Entry fee is $50 per player.

Saturday, June 29 – Brassie Event #4: Two Man Matches
Individual Match Play format 27 Holes, 3 nine hole matches. Each player will play a nine hole match against other players in group, 1 point for winning a match and ½ point for a tie. $70 entry per player includes golf fee, $40 for Brassie members. Entry deadline is Thursday, June 20th at noon. Number of entries must be even. Pairing will be based on handicap with similar handicaps paired together. Extra players will be used as alternates.
